Dana R. Parsons

Dana Rollin Parsons, 77, of Gay passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 following a short illness.

Dana was born April 22, 1945 in Jackson County, a son of the late Moody Allen and Madge Litton Parsons. Dana worked for the West Virginia State Road and enjoyed spending time on the farm and working his cattle.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Helen Parsons; son D.J. Parsons (Tracie); daughter Pam Parsons; grandchildren Jacob and Josie Parsons; brothers Rossie and Stanley Parsons; sisters Sandy Roush, Doris May and Delma Miller.

In addition to his parents Dana was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Parsons and sisters Dorothy “Dot” Parsons, Doreen Thomas and Sharon Nutter.
