Dana E. Whited

Dana E. Whited Jr. 69 of Ripley, passed away August 26, 2023 at Jackson General Hospital.

Dana was born December 19, 1953 in Belgrove, Jackson County, son of the late Dana E. and Orthalee Anderson Whited. He was a CNA and started his career at Jackson General Hospital and retired from CAMC. Dana enjoyed collecting knives and Jeweler Loupe. He was known as a people person and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Kirby Whited and his wife April; brother David (Jill) Whited; grandchildren, Jordan Whited, Emery Whited and Alexia Whited; sister-in-law Judy Whited; nieces Holley Whited, Danielle Whited and nephew, Aaron Whited.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Whited

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Entombment will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Cottageville. Friends may call from 11:00 am am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
