Daniel Ryan

Daniel F. Ryan, 88, of Given, WV went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the Late Thomas and Lucy Ryan. He was a graduate of Milton Hershey High and a veteran on the Army.

Daniel was a retired tradesman as of 2002. Since retirement, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and watching and feeding all the birds and animals that always came for the treats. He loved doing yardwork, tending to the plants, landscaping, and mowing. Most importantly, he served Jesus, read the bible, spread the Gospel, and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his son, Shawn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons and daughters of his first marriage, Danny, Christopher Joseph, Ruth Ann, Mary Lisa, and Robin; and of his second marriage, Tammy, Christopher John, Cathy, and Cindy; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In accordance with the family’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held by the family, at a yet to be determined date and time.
