Danilo Panag Belleza, 74, of Ravenswood passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. He was born September 11, 1947 at Manilla, Phillipines a son of Alfredo Belleza and Benigna Panag Belleza. Danilo was a retired Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy where he served for 24 years and worked on F14’s as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Following his retirement from the military he worked as an X-Ray Technician. He loved the Lord and served as head elder and on many committees in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Virginia Beach and more recently at the Ripley Seventh-day Adventist Church. His family will remember him as a self taught “DIYer” and jack of all trades. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, 4 months and 25 days, Esther (Cadiz) Belleza; sons Bobby Dax Belleza (Lori) and Norman Belleza. He is also survived by one grandchild, Taylor Belleza. A funeral service to celebrate Danilo’s life will be held 12 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Ripley Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2156 Ripley Rd, Ripley, WV 25271, with Pastors Abbey Reyes and Volpe officiating. Visitation will be held 4-5 p.m. Saturday, January 22rd at Waybright Funeral Home, 511 S. Church St., Ripley, WV 25271 with a tribute program starting at 5 p.m. Following the program there will be a time of food and fellowship in the Parsons-Vail Family Center at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with a graveside service 12 p.m. Monday, January 24th at West Virginia National Cemetery with full military honors.
