Danny Lee Casto

Danny Lee Casto, 61 of Ravenswood went to be at peace with the Lord on June 7, 2015 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born May 27, 1954 at Liberty, a son of the late James O. and Florence Thornton Casto. He was a Chemical Operator with Dow Chemical and retired after 36 years of service. He attended the Centerpoint Church in Putnam County and enjoyed farming and fishing. The family will cherish the special times they enjoyed at Ocracoke Island but mostly he will be remembered for being a wonderful Husband, Father and Papaw. His grandchildren were the light of his life! He is survived by his wife Diana Wiseman Casto; son Eric Casto of Ravenswood; daughter Amanda (David) House of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Atley Casto, Daniel House, Emily House and Andrew House along with many friends. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Mt. Zion Church, Jim Ridge, Putnam County with Leroy Meadows and Alvie Whitt officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley and one hour prior to the service at the church.
