Darrell E. Rhodes

Darrell Ernest Rhodes, 80, of LeRoy passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026, after an extended illness. Born on October 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Ores and Goldie Parsons Rhodes.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janice Golden Rhodes; his daughters, Tena Casto and Lora Parsons (Mark); his grandchildren, Tonya Whiting (Brandon Connor), and Nicole Blankenship; step-grandson, Mark Parsons II; and his great-grandson, Brooks Connor; step great-granddaughter, Isabella Parsons; and step great-grandson, Mark Parsons III. He is also survived by brothers, Delmer, Bernard, Jesse (Kim), and Joe (Debbie); sisters, Gladys Knopp, Macel Rhodes, Carolyn Johnson, Kathleen Herdman (Mark), and Regina Rawson (Randy); as well as sister-in-laws, Margaret Rhodes and Eva Rhodes.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his son Anthony (Tony) Rhodes; and his brothers, Russell Rhodes and Elmer Rhodes.
