David Lloyd Hall, 77, of Sissonville, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at Mountain View Care Center.
Born February 22, 1949, in Charleston, David was the son of the late A.C. and Emma (Monk) Hall.
David was a third-generation, highly skilled Rolex watchmaker who dedicated much of his life to the precision craft of repairing and restoring fine timepieces. His talent, patience, and attention to detail earned the respect of many who knew his work. Beyond his profession, David enjoyed ATV riding, drag racing, and spending time and socializing with friends and family at Yukon Lake.
He will be remembered for his craftsmanship, free spirit, passion for music, and love for his family and friends.
David is survived by his sons, Erik Hall, Justin Hall, and Zachary Layne; brother, Donald Hall; sister, Helen Tompkins; grandchildren, Kayla, Erika, Madison, Courtney, Renley, Reagan, Jamie, Brandon, and Rodney; and great-grandchildren, Jaylee, Haisley and Grayson.
In honoring David’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Waybright Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26th at 6p.m. with visitation held from 5p.m. until the service.
