David James Landers

David James Landers, 38, of Ripley, passed away Saturday evening, August 23, 2014, at CAMC following a brief illness. David was born February 23, 1976 in Parkersburg. He attended Ripley High School and was a carpenter and roofer in the construction business. David loved his family and loved being outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. Surviving: His mother and step-father, Stella Withrow Proctor and David Proctor of Kenna; Brother, Stephen Shaun Cooper of Ripley; Sister, Kimberly Landers Westfall of Ripley; Grandmother, Donna Withrow of Ripley; Uncle, Jeffrey Withrow of Ripley; Aunt, Patricia Nida of Lincoln County; Nieces, Angela and Krista Westfall, both of Ripley; Nephews, Jimmie Westfall Jr. of Ripley, Damon and Alex Cooper, both of Ripley. David was preceded in death by a grandfather, Hobert Withrow of Ripley and an uncle, Eddie Withrow of Ripley. A service celebrating the life of David Lambert will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Irene Withrow officiating.
