David P. Miller

David Paul Miller, 68, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston.

David was born June 5, 1956 at Rochester, NY a son of the late Robert and Maxine (Carr) Miller. David worked at Cabot Oil and Gas with over 25 years of service. He started out as a welder and would retire as a district manager. David loved being outdoors where he could usually be found in his garden or fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he absolutely adored.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Sue (Mollette) Miller; children Mark Miller, Tracy Mollette-Wilson (Brian) and Kelly Burgess (Kevin); brother Eric Miller; sisters Lisa Shepherd and Tina Holmes; grandchildren Austin Parsons, Megan Parsons, Hanah Burgess, Jenna Burgess and Sawyer Burgess and great-grandchildren Oakey and River Parsons.

In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Miller.

A celebration of David’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating.
