David Scott Tackett, 45, of Ripley, WV, passed away on October 12, 2025. He was born on April 3, 1980, the son of Delbert and Charlotte Tackett.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his brothers, Charlie, Daniel, Dewayne, Donald, Delbert, Douglas, and Ernie; and a sister, Doris. He is preceded in death by his father.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding ATV’s and sxs’s. David was known for his ornery personality and will be missed dearly by many family members and friends.
In honoring the families wishes, there will be no services at this time.
