Deborah Stone

Deborah Darlene Stone, 57, of Sandyville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 5, 2014 surrounded by her family following a short illness. She was born December 14, 1956 at Parkersburg, daughter of Willard "Bill" and Margaret Shenefield Boyd of Fairplain. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and an inspiration to everyone she encountered. Although her time was short, her gifts were many. She was always full of laughter and fun and her life served as a positive light to all she met. In addition to her parents, Debbie also leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Steven B. Stone and a son, Zachary B. Stone, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by a brother, Craig Boyd (Angie) of Charleston and a sister, Natalie Wayne (Mark) of Evans. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Bryce Stone, who died at birth in 1985. A celebration of the life of Debbie Stone is set for Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Stone officiating. Interment will follow the service at Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
