Debra "Mouse" Gandee

Debra “Mouse” Gandee, 70, of Ripley went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.

Debra was born October 16, 1955 in Ripley, WV a daughter of the late Oral “Buss” and Pauline (Grandon) Sharp.

Mouse worked at the Ripley Post Office with over 30 years of service in many different positions. She was also the first female postal carrier in the county. More than anything she loved spending time with her family.

Mouse is survived by her children Chad Gandee (Chelsea) and Cassi Watson; brother Garry Sharp (Helen); grandchildren Bryce Gandee, Booth Gandee, Kaiden Kaiser, Maci Kaiser and Jasper Watson and great-grandchildren Lilah Sergant and Bella Kaiser and sister-in-law Sharon Watson. She is also survived by several wonderful nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, Mouse was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Sharp; sister Sandi Waybright, brother-in-law Mike Waybright.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 10th at Waybright Funeral Home with Jack Quesenberry officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery. The family would like to thank Jackson General Hospital and the Hubbard Hospice House staffs for all their care, love and support show to their family.
