Delmar E. Eagle

Delmar E. Eagle, 76, of Leroy passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at his home following a long illness. He was born July 27, 1939 in Roane County, a son of the late O.V. and Esther Conant Eagle. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired from Constellium Rolled Products, formerly Kaiser Aluminum. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and also enjoyed farming and putting up hay, trout fishing in the mountains. He was a member of the Millcreek Baptist Church at Frozen Camp. He is survived by his wife Virginia Bise Eagle; his daughters, Rosetta (Tim) Crihfield of Leroy, Francis (Jerry) Eagle-Burge of Liverpool and Dorothy (Roy) Fox of Leroy; his grandchildren, Erica Hall Harrison, Elizabeth Crihfield, Timothy Crihfield II, Elacea Hamilton, Zachary Burge, Alden Fox, Brady Fox and Cole Fox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Hardman. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Millcreek Baptist Church, Frozen Camp with Pastor Bob Keen officiating. Burial will follow in the Street Little Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church.
