Delmer Eugene Fields

Delmer Eugene Fields, 62, of Kenna passed away on a lovely Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 8, 1956 at Belgrove a son of Delmer Perry and Phoebe Crihfield Fields. He worked at several different jobs including Asplundh as well as Lambert Stone. He loved picking his guitar and walking creek banks looking for arrowheads, which he found many of. He is survived by sons Jeremy Fields (Kyla) of Kenna and Joshua Fields (Tabitha) of Ohio; parents Delmer and Phoebe Fields of Kenna; Brothers Perry Fields (Pam) of Evergreen Hills and Scotty Fields (Dawn) of Gay; Sisters Bonnie Little, Carolyn Hinzman (Calvin) of Sandyville, Rosemary Lambert (Donald) of Charleston, and Melissa Rogers (Jason) of Cottageville; Grandchildren Damien Fields, Amari Fields, Caleb Ferrel, Chloe Bailey, Alara Bailey, Riley James, and John Michael James. He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, David Joseph “Joey” Eugene Fields. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Thursday, January 24th at Aplin United Methodist Church, Gay with Pastor Ray Thomas, Jonathan Hinzman and Elmer Miller officiating.
