Delmore C. Boyce

Delmore Clark “Dale” Boyce, 81 of Ripley, passed away November 18, 2022 at Mountain View Care Center, Ripley following an extended illness.

Dale was born May 30, 1941 in Advent, son of the late Charles and Edith Elliott Boyce. He attended Charleston High School and was a US Navy Veteran. He was owner and operator of Dale’s Ceramic Tile. He was a Christian and attended the Liberty Tabernacle and Ripley Baptist Temple. He enjoyed hunting, and antiquing but most of all spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Anne (McCormick) Boyce

He is survived by daughter Melissa Boyce (Tony Vanoy) sons Greg Boyce (Kelly) and Victor Boyce (Cathy) all of Ripley; Grandchildren Joshua Hunt (Kayla), Jayson Boyce, Tiffany Kosimov (Shuhrat), Noel Teel-McCafferty (Adam), Xavier Boyce, Remington Boyce and Broedy Boyce; great-grandchildren Saige Hunt, Deacon Hunt, Rozie Kosimov and Abdullah Kosimov; sisters Mary Ann Bush of Scarbro, WV, Linda Anderson Kelley of Charleston and Wilma Grace Shinn of Florida; sisters-in-law Julie Monk, Sue Maynor, Virgie Beasley and Faye Roupe and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Covey Cemetery at Advent.
