Delphine Joyce Snodgrass

Delphine Joyce Griest Snodgrass, 87 of Ripley entered into Heaven on October 19, 2018 following a long illness. She was born November 1, 1930 in Kanawha County, daughter of the late Theron and Goldie Peal Griest. She was a member of the Ripley Church of the Nazarene. She taught Sunday School and was a Sunday School Treasurer for many years. She was a homemaker, an amazing cook and a prayer warrior. She is survived by her son Dennis (Karen) Snodgrass; daughters Diana (Rev. Ronald) Perry, Sherry (Chuck) Willis and Kim (Dana) Drennen; Grandchildren Jennifer (Eric) Dramis, David Snodgrass, Ronald Perry II, Jeremy (Amy) Perry, Anna (Aaron) Goletz, Becca Willis, Thomas (Sara) Drennen Alex (Brandace) Drennen, and Jonathan Drennen; Great-grandchildren Evan and Emily Dramis, Laura, Lindsay, and Nathan Perry, Andrew, Alexander, and Amelia Goletz, Cameron White, Carson, James, and Gabriel Drennen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jarrell Snodgrass and brothers Ray Griest and Theron Earl Griest. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 28th at Ripley Church of the Nazarene, 209 Cedar Lakes Drive, Ripley, WV 25271, with Rev. Kristopher Powell and Rev. Ronald Perry officiating. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Committal service will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 29th at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
