Delsa Leola Hess

Delsa “Leola” Hess, 83, of Sandyville went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 2, 2024.

Leola was born October 24, 1940 in Leroy, WV a daughter of the late Delbert and Mary (McVay) Smith. Leola loved spending time with her family, interior design; she was an interior decorator for Camden Clark Hospital and also loved gardening. She never met a stranger and had many friends whom she loved.

She is survived by sons, Doug (Brenda)Hess, Jeff Hess, Rob (Althea) Hess, and Scott Hess; sister, Dottie Enoch; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Leola was preceded in death by her late husband Howard Preston Hess; brothers, Lee and Dwight; sisters, Myrtle, Reba, Betty, and Cathy; daughter, Debra Cranfield; and a grandson, David Hess.
