Dennis L. Ross, Jr., 66, of Kenna passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston following a short illness. He was born November 20, 1950 at Clay County, a son of Dennis L. and Leah Mollahan Ross. Dennis retired from Alcan Metals after 32 years as a Crane Inspector. He was an avid hunter. Most of all he loved, “Just plunking around on the farm.” He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Karen White-Ross; Son David Ross(Kari) of Buffalo; Daughters Melissa Carver (Wade) of Given, Jennifer Hurley (Jeff) of Teays Valley, and Taryn Ross of Kenna; Step-Children Erika Parsons (Marco) of Lancaster, OH and Lowell Travis Parsons of Cottageville; Grandchildren Madelyn Crawford, Hunter Ross, Alex Hurley, Kinsey Ross, Gabriel Guerero, Riley Winnell, and Adysyn Parsons; Brother Ricky Ross (Carolyn) of Kenna; Sisters Linda Cook of Pinch and Marva Leadbetter of South Ridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In honor of Dennis’s wishes he will be cremated with a memorial service to celebrate his life set to take place in June.
