Denzil Ray Woodfell, 93 of Statts Mill, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at his home following an extended illness.
Denzil was born August 13, 1932 in Jackson County, son of the late Mildred Woodfell. He retired from the City of Ripley and also helped with digging graves..
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Woodfell and sister, Geraldine Casto.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Woodfell and Sandra Woodfell of Statts Mill.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 6 to 8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
