Docha Fay Kuhn

Docha Fay Kuhn, 96, of Milton, formerly of Ripley passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at Genesis Teays Valley Center.

Fay was born January 8, 1927 in Fairplain, WV a daughter of the late Clare and Plusha Crane Staats. Fay was faithful wife and mother and an avid Christian who loved serving her Lord. In earlier years she played the piano at several churches in the Ripley area. She was a member of the Fairplain Union Church and in later years was a charter member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Ona. Several of Fay’s hobbies included gardening, canning and cooking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Fay is survived by her grandchildren Michael Blake (Michelle), Mary Blake and Ruth Sperry (Daniel); son-in-law David Blake and great-grandchildren Leah Blake, Andrew Blake, Annabelle Sperry and Eli Sperry.

In addition to her parents Fay was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Junior Kuhn; daughter Tabby Fay Blake; brother Hope Staats and sisters Charity Baltic and Faith Anderson and infant great-grandchild

Funeral service will be 12 p.m. at the Fairplain Union Church with her grandson, Pastor Michael Blake officiating. Vistiation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
