Donald V. Roub, 90 of Ripley went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston He was born February 7, 1924 in Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph and Florence Donnelly Roub. He was an Army Veteran of World War II where he served as a Medic. Don was a member of the Kensington Pennsylvania Masonic Lodge and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1983. He was a faithful member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Farrell Skeens Roub and his second wife Kathleen Fisher Roub. He is survived by daughters Teresa Tracewell of Chester Virginia, Janet (Jim) Brumfield of Charleston, Kim (Clayton) Kerns of Sandyville and Heidi Roub of Charleston; sons Eugene (Tammy) Roub of Pt. Pleasant, Pat Roub of Wyoming and Craig Roub of Puerto Rico ; step daughters Joyce Tolley, Shirley Mace and Judy Bond and Step son Jim Fisher; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 11:30 am Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastors Jeff Keffer and Mike Elder officiating. Burial with Military Rites provided by American Legion Post 107, Ripley and Masonic Rites by Ripley Masonic Lodge will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley . Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
