Donald "Bub" Smith

Donald Paul “Bub” Smith, 84, of Sandyville passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Jackson General Hospital.

Bub was born March 18, 1940 at Sandyville, a son of the late Carl E. and Virginia (Utt) Smith. He was a pipeline superintendent and will be remembered as a hard worker. When not working on the pipeline he could usually be found mowing his grass and he enjoyed watching different sporting events and NASCAR.

Bub is survived by his wife Judy (Kent) Smith; son David Smith (Jodi); daughter Jaclyn Smith; grandchildren Matt Smith, Mitch Smith, Tinsley Smith, Kingston Smith and Nicholas Smith; great-grandaughters Emma and Cassidy Smith and daughter-in-law Missy Smith. He is also survived by a brother

In addition to his parents Bub was preceded in death by a wife Betty (Anderson) Smith, a son, Mark Smith and a brother.
