Donald Lee Westfall

June 23, 1940 — March 18, 2021

Donald Lee Westfall, 80 of Statts Mill passed away March 18, 2021 at his home following a long illness. He was born June 23, 1940 at Siniaville, Jackson County, a son of the late Hershel and Pauline Rhodes Westfall. He was a pipeliner and farmer and retired from C.J. Hughes Construction as a pipeliner. He loved animals and enjoyed feeding birds, but his greatest love was his family and taking care of them. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Fields Westfall; sons Donald Westfall and James Westfall; daughters Diane Wilson, Mary Ann Westfall, Linda Thompson, Jeanetta Moore; brothers Phil Westfall and Junior Westfall; sisters Geneva Fisher and Leona Critchfield; grandchildren Hershel Westfall, Jessica Stalnaker, Thomas Westfall, Zach Wilson, Angela Westfall, Kristia Westfall, Jimmie Westfall Jr., Victoria Bradley, Ashley Westfall, Quentin Westfall, Travis Westfall, Sabrina Miller, Allyson Davis, Claire Thompson, Grace Thompson, Brady Thompson and Makayla Moore. He was also survived by many great grandchildren. In addition to his parent’s he was preceded in death by sons, Jackie Westfall and Jimmie Westfall; grandchildren, Cody Westfall, Michael Wilson and Waylon Westfall. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the White Pine Cemetery near Aplin Ridge.
