Doris Mae Lowe

With broken hearts our dearly loved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, Doris Mae Lowe passed away at home on November 5th after a long battle with cancer. Doris was born on October 20th, 1949 in Roane County, WV.

Doris enjoyed playing with her cat Cookie and working crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents Nelson Earl Harper and Ollie (Moore) Harper; brothers, James, Ronald, Layne, Wayne, Larry, Gary, and half-brother Herby Harper.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Lisa Lowe; grandchildren Derek Lowe, Katelyn Lowe, Molly (Jason) Roush; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bailey, Sue (Will) Lowe and Dorothy Faber; a brother, Gerald Harper; several nieces and nephews, and longtime companion Bobby McGee. Doris will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Christian Fellowship church for all of their prayers.
