Dorothy Ruth Hill

Dorothy Ruth Hill, 88, of Ripley passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Eldercare Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. She was born July 17, 1929 at Portsmouth, Ohio a daughter of the late Henry and Naomi Wolfe. Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother and a Christian who attended the West Ripley Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Hill, of Ripley; Daughter Eugenia Currey (Rick) of Ripley; Brother Charles Wolfe of Ohio; Sisters Donna Doss of Ohio and Phyllis Hornikle of Ohio. Funeral service will be 3 p.m Monday, August 7, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Kenny Asbury and Rick Perrine officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
