Dorothy Ann Kessell

Dorothy Ann Kessell, 67 won her battle on December 28, 2016 and received her place beside her Heavenly Father. She was born February 23, 1949 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Earl and Hildon King Muck. She was a 1967 graduate of Poca High School and a member of the Parchment Valley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Leonard Kessell; sons Larry (Melissa) Kessell and John Kessell; grandsons Trevor Jacob Kessell and Noah Robert Kessell and her sister, Lois (Keith) Muck Jividen. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday December 31, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Following the visitation a procession will leave for the Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty where a graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Dorothy to the Kanawha Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard W., Charleston, WV 25387. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Kanawha Hospice as well as the Doctors for the care and comfort they gave to Dorothy during her illness.
