Doyle Edward Casto 82 of Kenna passed away August 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 2, 1932 at Belgrove a son of the late Roscoe and Freda Faber Casto. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Army Reserves with 26 years of total service. He worked in the construction trade for many years, enjoyed gardening and was an avid outdoorsman. He was an active member of the Christian Fellowship Church, in Kenna. He dearly loved and cherished his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Carolyn Sue Collins Casto; his daughters Meike (George) Freshour, Robin (Lymon) Anderson and Donna (Kerry) Hinzman; brother Earl (Imogene) Casto of Ripley; sisters Edna Kelly of Charleston, Eleanor Clay of Kenna, Reda (Oshel) Daniels of Cottageville and Wanda (Joe) McClung of Cross Lanes; sister in law Joyce Casto; his grandchildren Brandy Freshour Whittington, Lesley Freshour Roush, Steven Freshour, Erica Anderson Smith, Jessica Anderson Minnix, Angela Anderson, Rachel Hinzman, Jonathan Hinzman and Rebecca Hinzman; great grandchildren Katherine, William and Grace Whittington, Julia, Lauren, Joshua, Zachary and Anna Roush, Noah and Isabella Freshour and Kile Minnix. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Veldra Harold Casto and Roland Casto and sisters Ravena Duffield and Imogene Casto Funeral Service will be noon on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home with Pastors Lymon Anderson and George Freshour officiating. Burial with Military Rites by American Legion Post 107, Ripley will be in the Plainview Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
