Earnest C Mcclain

Earnest C. McClain passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 where he was residing in Murfreesboro Tennessee .He had been battling Parkinsons Disease for six years . He was born October 3rd, 1927 and was a Jackson County , West Virginia native . He was preceded in death by his mother and father Flavius Josephus McClain and Rulina (Stalnaker ) McClain . Earnest was married to Wanda Elenor Raines McClain for over 58 years until she passed away in 2006 in Nashville Tennessee . They have 4 children;. Rick McClain of Pensacola , Florida, David McClain of San Antonio, Texas, Cynthia Elam of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Lori J. Ridgeway of Nashville , Tennessee . They have seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren . Mr McClain has three siblings still living and they are Bonnie Ivalee Dewees , Orin Preston McClain and Lorene Amanda Lupardis all of Jackson County West Virginia . Earnest raised his family in Massillon Ohio while working for Timken Rollerbearing Plant . He retired in 1992 and eventually moved to Nashville , Tennessee to live closer to his daughters. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial with Military Rites provided by The Jackson County Honor Guard will be in the Raines Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
