Edwin Parsons

Edwin M. Parsons, 78 of Kenna, passed away September 28, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born on December 12, 1947; a son of the late Zollie and Hattie Parsons.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Ina Parsons; his brothers, Eltina (Cathy) Parsons and Larry (Nellie) Parsons; his sister, Brenda (Raymond) Hackney; and a daughter-in-law, Brandy Parsons.

Edwin enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. He never met a stranger and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his sons, Edwin Parsons II, Brian Parsons, and Matthew (Glennda) Parsons; and grandchildren, Bria Parsons, Farrah Parsons, Mallory Parsons, Taylor Parsons, Kassidy Parsons and Tucker Parsons.

A funeral service will be held at 10a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the funeral home. There will be no visitation the day of the service.
