Effie Mae Barnette

Effie Mae Barnette, 75, of Ripley passed away October 23, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness. She was born May 26, 1040 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Dennie and Ruby Lynch Anderson. She was a Waitress at many local Restaurants and was a Caregiver for many elderly around Ripley. She is survived by a son, Jeffery Anderson and his wife Doreen of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren Tabitha Anderson and Tod Anderson; great grandchild Eric Anderson; brothers Roger Anderson and Ronnie Anderson; sisters Wyneda Cummings, Vicky Burgess, Blondina Cummings, Mary Cummings and Betty Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Anderson. The family is honoring her wishes to have a graveside service at 11:00 am Thursday, October 29, 2015 at eh Given Cemetery, Given, WV with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating.
