Eileen Cain Stanley

Eileen Cain Stanley, 104, of Kenna, WV went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2023.

She was preceded in death by son Glenn Stanley, infant son James Stanley, grandson Greg Stanley, great-grandson Zachary Cummings, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Eileen is survived by sons Larry Stanley (Judy) and Robert Stanley (Sue); daughter-in-law Mary Stanley; grandchildren Ronald Stanley (Kathy), Lisa Cummings (Scott), Michael Stanley (Kellie), Eric Stanley and Michele Froehner (Kent), Melissa Taylor, Russell Good and Liz Good. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Eileen was a member of Fisher Chapel in Sissonville and Hardman Chapel in Smithville. She worked an extended career for several businesses as a bookkeeper. She also worked for the WV Historical Education Foundation that provided 8th grade WV history books. She was an expert seamstress who made wedding dresses, prom dresses, custom alterations and twirler outfits for many college, high schools and twirling competitors. In her spare time, she made wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cakes for many other special occasions.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 10th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Committal service will be at 1:30 p.m Monday, December 11th at the Hardman Chapel Cemetery in Smithville.
