Eleanor Westfall Talbert

Eleanor Florence Westfall Talbert, 82, of Ripley went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Charleston Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born November 5, 1940 in Belgrove, Jackson County, daughter of the late Glenver and Ruby Skeen. She enjoyed coloring, shopping, cooking and canning. She was a devoted Christian and attended the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and the Vista Church

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Lee (the late Buck)Angel; grandchildren Aimee (James) French, Andrea (Alonzo) Staats, Cassandra (Adam) Garnes, Candice Jarrell, Courtney (Ronald) Keen, and Brandi Angel; great grandchildren, James “Fuzz” (Jessica) French, Naressa (Jeremy) French, Alexis (Blake) French, Hayli French, Cameron French, Ryker French, Minnie (Spencer) Keen, Braedon Angel, Erin Durback, Arabella Durback, Stephen Cooper, Daman Cooper, Dakota Keyser and Waylon Robinson; great-great grandchildren, Jonathan Cooper and Oaklynn Smithay. Son-in-laws Kenny Riffle and Mark Blair. She was a loving mother and mawmaw to all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Westfall; children, Cheryl L. Blair and Patricia A. Southall and brothers Gerald Skeen, Paul Skeen and Allen Skeen and a great grand son, Kaydin Jarrell.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will be in the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
