Ella Smith

Ella Smith, 97, of Advent passed away October 16, 2025 at Mountain View Care Center, Ripley following a long illness.

She was born July 2, 1928 at Advent, a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Vernie Chapman Smith. Ellie loved taking care of her family any way she could. She enjoyed working in her flowers as well as cooking many meals for her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Bessie Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Carl and Dennis Smith and a sisters, Maldine and Dessie Smith.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 21st at 1 p.m. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
