Elmer Coger

Elmer Coger, 70, of Kenna, passed away Sunday evening, October 19, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House following complications resulting from cancer. He leaves behind the love of his life Janet Coger, his sons, Michael and Mark Coger, Phil, Kevin and Mike Rhodes, Chuck, Jason and Eric Brown; Daughters, Vera Jane Tate, Lisa Brown and their families; Brother, Stanly Coger. He loved and enjoyed all of his grandchildren and was extremely grateful that he got to spend time with his last born granddaughter, Abigail Kate Coger, who was born shortly before Elmer's death. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers including Bill, Kathy, Jeff, Chad, Lee, Jeremy, Joey, Nancy, Chris and Ritchie. They let Elmer know they loved and cared about him during his final days. A special thank you to Kanawha Hospice and Hubbard House and his case worker, Holly McComas. They made his life more enjoyable and it would have been difficult for the family to cope with the situation without their help. Keeping with Elmer's wishes he was cremated.
