Elmer Lee Walker, 77 of Kenna passed away January 13, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Cottageville following a long illness. He was born May 4, 1937. He attended the Hickory Grove Church and retired as a Carpenter having worked for Al Marino Inc., and John Fletcher Construction. He is survived by his wife whom was the Love of His Life Denward Gaye Walker; his children Fawn Maria Deskins of Charleston, Julia Ann ((Duke) Linzy of Charleston, Dawna (Donnie) Paugh of Oceana, Penny (Dana) Miller of Sissonville, Kim (Curt) Starcher of Cottageville, Todd (Missy) Burdette of Charleston and Brad (Pam) Burdette of Charleston; brother Keith (Pat) Walker of Ripley; sister Sue (Louie) Lomar of Kentuck; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father whom raised him, Merle Adkins. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Hickory Grove Church, Kenna with Pastor David Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Kiser Cemetery, Kentuck.
