Elmer F. Westfall, 76, of Ripley passed away, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Eldercare of Ripley following an extended illness. He was born July 14, 1941 at Cottageville, WV a son of the late Estel and Sylvia Price Westfall. Elmer worked as a well tender for many years for several different companies. He also enjoyed hunting, working on the farm and his dogs, Molly and Oscar. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Wright Westfall; Brother David Westfall of Ripley; Sisters Anna Crihfield of Ripley and Lois Cooper of Ripley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Clarence Westfall, Robert “Bob” Westfall, Elwood Westfall, and Edward Westfall. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor David Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m until the time of service.
