Emogene Dixon Lanham

Emogene Dixon Lanham, 73 of Kenna, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at her home following a long illness. She was born January 23, 1942 at Charleston, daughter of Ira Dixon of Charleston and the late Narvella Jenkins Dixon. She was a homemaker and retired in the mailroom at the Federal Bankruptcy Court with 10 years of service. She attended the Allen's Fork Community Church and enjoyed quilting. She is survived by her husband William H. "Bill" Lanham; son Jeffrey S. (Michelle)Lanham; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Cory; Father Ira Dixon of Charleston and sister Donna Dixon of Ripley; She is also survived by many family members and friends. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Jerry Bonnett and Arnold Sheets officiating. Friends may call on the family on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Committal service will be 1:00 pm Monday, August 3, 2015 in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, Pocatalico.
