Emory Quentin Adkins

Emory Quentin Adkins, 78, of Ravenswood passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Mountain View Care Center in Ripley.

He was born March 11, 1944 in Madison, WV a son of the late Roy and Allie Vanatter Adkins. In his spare time Emory enjoyed fishing as well as tending to the flowers around his house.

Emory is survived by his daughter Pam Myers (Joe) of Ravenswood; brothers Bobby Adkins, Terry Adkins and Ricky Adkins; sisters Helen Wheeler and Donna Adkins; grandsons Robert and Travis Adkins and 3 great-granddaughters Emma, Eliza and Lilly.

In addition to his parents Emory was preceded in death by brothers Homer, Jimmy and Jackie Adkins and a sister, Sue Woodrum.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 31st at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
