Erma "Tommie" Cavender

Erma Luray “Tommie” Cavender 96 of Sandyville, passed away March 18, 2020 in Ravenswood Care Center following a long illness. She was born May 16, 1923 in Reedy, a daughter of the late Hoyt and Lula McFarland Sheppard. She was a graduate of Spencer High School and worked in New York City with Chase Bank. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Blink” Cavender. She is survived by her step daughter Diana Randolph and her husband Randy of Sandyville; grandchildren Jeni McCourt of Ravenswood and Shelley Randolph of Sandyville; niece Tamara Sheppard; nephew Bill and Diane Sheppard and Rod and Pam Reynolds. With the health and safety of friends and family due to the Coronavirus, the service will be private. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
