Erman G. Lupardus

Erman Gail Lupardus, 92, of Gandeeville passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at his home.

He was born July 20, 1931 in Roane County, a son of the late Alva and Mary (Westfall) Lupardus. Erman moved to Cleveland, OH to work in the steel mills for 30 years before he retired. Following retirement, he moved back to the family farm in Roane County. He shared 68 years of marriage with his loving wife, Lorene (McClain) Lupardus and was a faithful member of the Aplin Church and surrounding community for the last 37 years.

In addition to his wife Lorene, Erman is survived by his children, Darla Gucik, Ronica Force (Mark), Kevin Lupardus (Maria), Michael Lupardus (Patricia) and Ronald Lupardus (Helen); Grandchildren Lucas, Nathaniel, Alysa, Jason, Vanessa, Skyler, Roger, Chessie, Adrian, Kenny, David, Breanna, Casey, Donna and Jessie; 7 great-grandchildren Aribeth, Elena, Landon, Madison, Rowan, Elliot and Adaline and a sister, Orbie Casto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Erman was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Jean Lupardus; grandchildren James Lupardus and Linsey Lupardus and a great-granddaughter Everly Rose Force.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 7th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
