Ernest Lee Ramsey

Ernest Lee Ramsey 64 of Pomeroy, OH passed away at his residence on August 17, 2014. He was born on July 28, 1950 at Ripley a son of Curt Ramsey and Mildred Friend Ramsey Blevins. He was a hard working Logger and served proudly in the Vietnam War while serving in the US Army. He member VFW 3488. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Sarah Lynn Ramsey whom he loved even in death. He is survived by his four children, Annette Bare of Pomeroy, OH and her son Michael McKenzie, Kenny Ramsey and Faith Lamm of Mason and their children Gabby Bush, Kenton Ramsey, Harley Roush, Byron Roush, Alexis Mick and Brayden Black, George and Euva Ramsey of Pomeroy, OH and their children Destiny, Curtis, Dominiqe and Shyla, Matt Brumfield and Jo Beth Rodehaver of Rutland, OH; brothers Larry Ramsey, Luther Blevins and William "Bubby' Blevins; sisters Norma Anthony, Hazel Vance, Rendenth Mills, Imojean Blevins, Pat Gibson and Menifee Blevins and Elizabeth. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed. In honoring his wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm Friday at the Morgan Cemetery, Ripley with Military Rites provided by American Legion Post 107 of Ripley. A funeral Procession will leave Waybright Funeral Home at 12:30 pm on Friday for the trip to the cemetery.
