Ernestine "Toopie" Whited

Ernestine “Toopie” Whited (nee Thomas) 97, of Elyria, OH passed away Monday, May 31, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born in Roane County on December 15, 1924 and had been a resident of Lorain County for many years. Ernestine retired from JC Penny in Elyria. She enjoyed reading, gardening and visiting with friends and family. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas William (Bill) Whited and her mother, Minnie Westfall (nee Thomas).
