Eula Rae Corns

Eula Rae Corns, 97 of Sandyville, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her home. She was born April 18, 1924 on Brushy Fork, Jackson County, daughter of the late Charles and Marybelle Archer McPherson. She was a homemaker and member of the Lockhart Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Darla) Corns and Mary (E.J.) Ulland; her grandchildren, Randal Corns, April (Kenny) Walker, Kasi Wales, Jason (Karen) Barker and Brandon (Christine) Barker; great grandchildren Teagan Wales and Hazlyn Wales. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl Corns; a son Carl Stephen Corns and daughter Judith Ann Corns. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Tom Nolan officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call on the family from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Kanawha Hospice and Jackson Home Health for the kindness and care given to her during her illness.
