Eva Chancey

Eva Skeen Chancey 89 of Ripley passed away July 29, 2014 at Jackson General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Grover and Sarah Winters Skeen. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons Steven (Natasha) Chancey of Egg Harbor, NJ and James Chancey Jr. of DeFuniak Springs, FL and daughter Becky (Jack) Marsh of Reno, NV; sister Virginia Skeen of Ripley. Also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years James "Bud" Chancey, her brother Woodrow Skeen and one granddaughter. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
