Evelyn Beulah Morgan

Evelyn Beulah Morgan, 91 of Sandyville, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2017 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home in Parkersburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 7, 1926 at Sandyville, a daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Waggoner Angus of Sandyville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Morgan and her siblings, Ruth Pepper, Billy Angus, Olive Angus and Dennis Angus. She was a member of the Drift Run Church. She retired from Jackson General Hospital from the Dietary Department and then was a caregiver to the elderly. Evelyn insisted on feeding her family and friends, making sure no one left her home hungry. She was an accomplished baker and well known for her wedding and special occasion cakes. She enjoyed quilting and tending to her flowers and garden. She also sang alto in the church choir and quartets. She had a special talent of beautiful yodeling. She is survived by her brother, Lewis Angus of Ravenswood; her children, Zetra Diane Wilkins (Ted) of Sparta, TN, Craig Morgan (Linda) , Kathy Carmichael (James) and Neil Morgan (Ailicia) all of Sandyville; Grandchildren, Lori Hanlon, Crystal Galarsa, Brian Morgan, Jana Olutola( Tunde) Toni Carmichael(Jacob), Kyle and Alex Carmichael, Zachary, Shelby, Benjamin(Olivia) and Rocky Morgan: step-grandchildren Skye and Brian Hess; great-grandchildren, Dominique (John), Adriana, Daniella, Ayo, Kunle, Jerrick, Kylie, Kendell, Aries, Sophia and Riley; great-great grandchildren, Jay, Remington, Mylo, Evelyn and Midas. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Dave Long officiating. Burial will be in the Drift Run Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
