Frances Leona White born April 14, 1959, is now an angel watching over us.
A loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved life, left this world for heaven on March 8, 2024. She was born in Wallace, Idaho, to Francis Mason and Leona Rockburn on April 14, 1959. She grew up the youngest of six children with 2 sisters and 3 brothers in Northern Idaho. She graduated from Wallace High School in 1978 and attended the University of Idaho for a semester. She attended beauty school and became a registered cosmetologist in 1981.
She worked hard as a cosmetologist and was blessed with a lovely daughter. Stephanie, in 1983 from her first marriage. She married the love of her life, David White in 1987, who still loves her beyond measure. They raised their 3-piece family in Rathdrum, Idaho until Stephanie grew into the young woman who moved to Pensacola in 2002. In 2012, she and David took on the Expat life, relocating overseas for a period of 4 years as David worked in development of the Aluminum industry
Never one to shy away from an adventure; she worked in the movie “Dante’s Peak” as a movie extra, while being filmed in Idaho, where she had the once in a lifetime experience sharing lunch with Linda Hamilton and ask Pierce Brosnan if he “Had any Grey Poupon” as he drove past in his Mercedes. She has cherished animals - a very dedicated pet advocate - which once brought her into wholesale pet supply as she dabbled in sales. She enjoyed many other endeavors wherever her heart told her to go. Fran loved camping, gardening, fishing, and expressing her creativity, the beach, and most of all, family, including her fur-kids.
She was always very supportive of her daughter, Stephanie, and her daughter’s friends, with unconditional love and acceptance, always one to stand up for them. She has many “bonus kids” who call her momma Fran, relying on her strength and encouragement to triumph life’s challenges. She would always be there to build your confidence and let you know that you could do anything you put your mind towards. Her no filter, no nonsense attitude would let you know you were going to know what Fran thought but it would be upfront honesty straight from her heart. She always lit up the room, and you knew that she was your friend as her loving smile and contagious laugh would better any day. She enjoyed time making memories with her granddaughter, Olivia, and nephew, Brandon, immensely; always loved spending time with all the family. She touched so many lives, in so many ways and will be missed more than any one of us can describe.
We all love you and miss you, sweetheart!
