Frank Ray Robertson

Frank R. Robertson, 76 of Gay, passed away October 10, 2017 at Specialty Select Hospital, Charleston following a long illness. He was born July 22, 1941 in Madison, Boone County, WV, a son of the late Neal and Lula Thomas Robertson. He served his country in the United States Army during three tours of duty in Vietnam. He served in the Army for almost 10 years. Following his time in the service he worked as a brick mason. In his spare time he loved fishing and working on old cars. He is survived by a son, Ray Robertson of Richmond Hill, GA; his grandchildren, Logan Robertson and Raeanne Warnock; and a sister, Kathryn Rhodes of Kenna. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse, Fred, Leslie and Wesley Robertson and sisters Doris Casto, Mable Robertson, Margaret Anderson and Clairice Casto. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Keith Casto officiating. Burial with Military Rites by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be it the Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck, WV. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
