Frank Edward Waybright Sr. 85 of New Haven formerly of Ripley passed away June 8, 2014 at his home following a long illness. He was born September 23, 1928 at Jackson County a son of the late Fred and Lemah Hickman Waybright. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and served as a Communication Specialist. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local # 132 and also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5501 in Ripley and American Legion in New Haven. He is survived by a daughter Nanette Waybright of Ripley; son Frank E. Waybright Jr. of Charleston; grandchildren Candice and Larry Hess Jr. of New Haven and Garrett Harding , Paigge and Trinity Waybright; great grandchild Jada Hess; and sister Mary Hash of Florida. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Marie Myers Waybright. A Celebration of the life of Frank Waybright will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Following the service the family will have a time of food and fellowship at the Parsons-Vail Family Center located inside the funeral home. The family would like to invite those attending to bring food for this time. Interment with Military Rites provided by American Legion Post 107 will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call two hours prior to the service (11 am until 1 pm) at the funeral home. A special thanks to family and special friends who helped care for Frank during his illness.
