Franklin "Butch" Crowder

Franklin “Butch” Crowder, 83, of Kenna passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at Hubbard Hospice House following the result of an accidental fall.

He was born August 26, 1939 in Charleston a son of the late Harrison and Margaret Harkins Crowder. Butch was a chemist for Union Carbide where he worked for many years prior to his retirement.

Butch is survived by his children Dr. Sue Ann Upton and husband Dr. Matthew Upton of Charleston and Dr. Eric Crowder and wife Teri of Ceredo; grandchildren Benjamin Upton, Emily Upton, Wesley Crowder and Baylee Crowder. Butch is also survived by special friend Jo Chenoweth.

In addition to his parents Butch was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Crowder.
