Freda Pignato

Freda M. Pignato of Ripley passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Ravenswood Care Center. She was 83, born on March 22, 1931 to Nathan and Bertha Casto whom preceded her in death. Her husband Carl W. Pignato and her son Bill Pignato also preceded her in death. Freda was a Christian. She enjoyed being a member of the Parchment Valley Homemakers Club and enjoyed gardening. Freda was the 8th child of 10 children and was also preceded in death by brothers Arden Casto and his wife Pearl, Letcher Casto and his wife Virginia and Victor Casto; Sister Mayfrey Greene and her husband Junior; sister in law Willadean Casto and nephews Burton Casto, Howie Casto and Kason Casto. Left to cherish her memory are brothers Eugene Casto of Kenna, Erman Casto and his wife Dora of Canal Fulton, OH; sisters Katherine Richardson and her husband Tommy of Dunbar, Judy Haynes and her husband Cletus of Liberty; sisters in law Lenora Casto of North Lawrence, OH and Barbara Pauley of South Charleston; daughter in law Kathy Pignato of Ravenswood and a crew of nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Moss Chapel Cemetery, Given. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11 am until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the nurses, Aides and Hospice for the good care thy gave her during her time at the Ravenswood Care Center.
